Well, I am little sad because today I was suppose to purchase my new camera (Canon D40). I have bad luck I suppose because it is always sold out for me and I refuse to order this over the internet. B&H did not have this item in stock on Friday when checked, because I was planning to go to New York and buy this camera from them. I’ve registered with their cool email option that they sent to you as soon as the camera is available in the store. Saturday night I did one last check before I went to sleep, but off course still not available. Decided to leave my browser open with the window up and went to bed. This morning I woke up and quickly refreshed the browser before I even brushed my teeth (yukkk)….and to my excitement it was IN STOCK!!! I quickly rushed to my father’s house to pick him up so we go to NYC and get this camera. I always take my father with me because he’s been working with photography for as long as he remembers, it is always a good resourceful tool for me.

Fast forward and we are in line waiting to be helped. At this point all fantasies of me holding this camera and taking pictures go through my head. As I am telling the representative what I am looking for and the list of accessories I was planning on getting with the device, the representative is quickly interrupted by a co-worker notifying him that the last Canon D40 has sold out!

At this point you could only imagine how I’ve felt. Now I have to wait again until who knows when and hopefully that next time I won’t have such bad luck.

In the end I purchased a printer that I desperately needed, Epson Photo R1800. I just printed my first print not long ago and I have to say the quality is amazing!
